Helen writes: 'Desert Island Discs has proved to be a great way to share your favourite music with other u3a members. It's a free concert sitting in comfortable chairs! and includes tea and biscuits. And the sky's the limit when it comes to taste - we have everything from pop, rock, folk music, jazz , high classical and opera. We usually meet from 2.30-4.30 pm on the last Tuesday afternoon of the month in a member's home in Willesden Green. You are invited to bring up to two CD's to play and discuss at each meeting. We normally have two 'rounds' per session, so you need to pick out a favourite track on each CD. We have a maximum listening slot of five minutes for each piece time, so as to leave time for discussion.'
